Yep, sure.I think he did well yesterday. SImilar to the derby, he came on and changed the flow of the game. As has been noted he looks to have bulked out a lot and is a real unit to shift.
Yep, sure.
However, he had an open goal opportunity at the end in that match and panicked like a dear in headlights, completely fluffing the shot wide. And, missed numerous sitters all last season.
All those attributes he possesses at the moment won’t give him a career in the top flight if he doesn’t develop his goal scoring.
All great options in lesser teams. If we have the ambition Moshiri and co tell us, we need better quality.Thats the flip isn't it mate. Thats the area he needs to work on. I remember Andy Johnson, Radzinski and Marcus Bent were all erratic in front of goal (perhaps more erratic at an older age to DCL) but all were very good options for us.

If he improves his finishing then he’ll be a gun. I like the rest of his game for his age.I think thats a fair point again mate. The points I'd make though are that all 3 pplayed in teams that finished above where we did last season, some considerably so. Secondly DCL is a lot younger than all of them and is of an age where he can, and ultimately should improve. If he does, I think he could be a very good 2/3rd choice for a side in and around the top 4. It does depend on him being a bit more clinical though!

Let’s hope. It will save us £40-50m in the transfer market.Well he is young but needs to get a grip of his nerves and try not to hurry but deliver a measured shot. may well come with time and coaching.

I think there was one moment when he got in and he should have been more selfish/composed. Should have gone straight for goal and get a shot off. That will come with time.
Overall he's a great squad option for us. He makes an impact from the bench which is all anyone can ask. He gets us up the pitch and pushes opponents back.

Maybe the back pains he had end of last season was linked. He may have been having growth spurts. Not unheard of at 20.Anyone else think DCL looked considerably bigger yesterday? Broader, stronger and even a little taller it seemed.
