DCL's ratings for last nights game seem to go from dismal to wonderful.

Bit bizarre these comments. He was a menace all night, whilst being starved of any chances. Got one and took it finely.

Good performance. Our best ST currently. I really rate him, think with the right coaching he could become very good.

He broke down every attack in the first half and at times held the ball too long when he should have released it.

I really rate DCL but he is not ready to lead our line on a consistent basis.

Why do people say he scores pointless goals? He's only got 5 this season and 1 won a point and another opened the scoring against Palace.
If he actually started scoring more his meaningful goals would obviously increase as well

I'm nitpicking here but he does seem to score these pointless goals that don't affect the result e.g when the game is already won or a 90th minute consolation, Needs to start having a bigger impact when he starts games.

When Bernard went through on that run, a decent striker would be making a move on that anticipating the cross, DCL just stands there.

Can´t see it. Difference between slotting in the 93rd minute when 2-0 at Cardiff and scoring in a derby is huge.

I'm still fuming at Tosun's and DCL's misses in the last 10 mins there.

It was a good one touch finish. Need to see more of that from Dom. He tends to let himself down in dangerous areas, but he took advantage of the space and put just enough on it. Wasn’t perfect, but hopefully it gives him a bit of confidence when taking shots on

I said the other day during the game that DCL gets in the right positions, but about a second or two after he should, have a look at him, Digne put a great ball into the box on Tuesday and he was NEARLY on the end of it, defender for there just before him, a good or great striker gets on the end of it and gets a shot on goal.
