Well despite “only” scoring goals against Rotherham and Huddersfield, Tosun hasn’t scored a single goal against “only” Wolves, Southampton, Bournemouth and the same Huddersfield!

DCL has 3 in the last two games and seems to be growing in confidence in front of goal. He starts against West Ham for me up front, flanked by Walcott and Bernard/Lookman. Tosun drops to bench.
 
Better than the statues known as Tosun who never looked for the ball or ran off the bal how he stayed on for 90 minutes with not a goal to his name this season was mind boggling....
Niassie did more than him in ten minutes forcing two corners etc .....
DCL needs to play down the middle not stuck out wide.......
 

He’s filled out a lot over the last few months, and for me he’s always been a No.9, it was obvious that’s his position.

Time to give him his chance in that role, as Tosun is off form and you can tell he’s frustrated as literally nothing is coming off for him.

I feel for him , I thought he worked hard yesterday and showed more than enough but the lad just isn’t a winger or wide player . I think playing him wide of a front three is a waste of what he current brings to the side . In the future he might offer more but I wouldn’t be playing him wide except in particular circumstances against specific opponents where we could use his physical abilities .
 
Tosun can't be faulted for effort. It just isn't happening for him at the moment. Against West Ham I would like to see either 2 strikers - Tosun and DCL or, just DCL on his own with Tosun on the bench.

And some decent wing play and crosses from Walcott and Lookman.
 

Got to have a chance as main striker, has 3 goals in two games against big physical sides. Not sure what else the lad can do apart from winning the ballon d or.
