He does everything right, except score - or even look like scoring.

I’ve supported him and everything but the lad has absolutely no strikers instinct. Can’t pick a run to save his life, can’t find space in the box and that defenders header in the Palace box was totally indicative of what he is all about.

That's what he offers though, he's very good at holding the ball up, closing people down and chasing through balls. Sadly at this level it's not enough, It's sound if you are doing the work for a prolific striker next to you but it's a lot different when you are leading the line for a club expecting to challenge for Europe.
