In two games we create loads of chances and he scored three goals. In the next two games we create virtually nothing and he doesn't score.

There is a link there. The attackers may as well have gone the pub at the start of the second half. The ball barely left our half.

You mean like the 3 clear cut opportunities we created in the first 20 mins?

Good strikers get on the ball and run at inexperienced defenders, not dom though. Just runs around pull his shorts up fixing his perme

He had chances today and should of scored.

I see your true colors shining through....

Hit a warm streak and is back to the player we all love and adore.....a striker who can't score.

He had one chance he should have done better with I reckon. (The diving header wasn't that much of a chance unless he is growing six inches).

I blame every player bar Pickford today but nobody is doing much from that showing today in attack.

He had a shot from the edge of the box that was embarrassing. He has no presence mate he is easy to mark he has no goalscoring instincts.

He will never be able to create something for himself. Not a lot of strikers do. Would be nice to have one of them.

Yeah we had some chances, not loads but some. Didnt have a sniff of anything in the second half which is just ridiculous.

Nobody would want DCL and the likes of Davies if we had a decent team. We have not got a decent team so we put up with such enthusiastic dross because that is where we are. Hopefully in a few years they and a lot of others will be a bad memory. In the meantime some will continue to say they are only young and local etc and may come good one day. The big losers are the big signings who turned out to be expensive dross. There are so many I will not waste typing time to name them. Somebody before Silva is to blame for signing them.

The whole team was a disgrace like but hes in the form of his life he should have been trying to make things happen

So what do we do? Play that boss striker who is on the bench?

I seem to get into this debate every week with someone, somewhere.

We barely attack. It doesn't matter who is up front, we are garbage all over the pitch you would just have someone stood there whilst the rest of the team is 50 yards away. I want better, of course I do, I also want us to do more when we have the ball as a team.

Only seen it at the ground but why didn't he keep running and head the ball instead of doing a diving header from Walcotts cross? Or was it too far in front of him that he had to dive for it?

When you get chances you have to take them and sadly he/we didn't
I’d agree. To me he had to attack the ball properly On his feet but instead he flung himself at it. The difference between natural goals scorers and decent centre forwards I think.

To be fair he won most balls pumped up to him in the first half, then we stopped doing it for some reason.

He aint capable of making things happen like that. He never will be.

I agree but when the ball is played to him he has to do more to hold up and link players in.
