I'm not being unkind to him; and if we want to want to be in the top echelon of footvall we habve to recognise we need better than a limited player like him.

Statistically, aside from the RS, we’re the most in form team in the country over the last 11 league games and DCL has played every match. Tbf, I’d take second in the league next season.

I wonder, for how long had Dunc been telling Silva that DCL needs a proper partner, someone close to him to feed off his hard work. That's what has made the difference. Before he showed a lack of confidence which i was sure stemmed from his isolation on the pitch.

it wasn't rocket science to see are forwards were getting isolated , I was talking to @Mikey_Fitzgerald on here ages ago when DLC was getting stuck and both of us said the same he was getting stick because he was getting used wrong and needed a partner.
saying that any forward would have struggled in that formation.

Next 4 games will really be the test for DCL, ok scoring against Newcastle, Burnley, palace etc. Now lets was see how he can do against the bigger boys. Richarlison has massively helped DCL this season, his form drops and DCL form will drop to. DCL good enough for England? Not in my book but I might start to change my mind if he performs against the bigger boys.

Apart from that tap in, another poor performance.

I think that works both way though, DCL’s running and knock on’s have massively helped Richy too, I know we aren’t used to it, but we might actually be seeing the birth of an effective striking partnership! Fingers crossed eh?
