Yep, 10 league goals was an abysmal return, his best season was his last, even then he disappeared for the last 10 games when he knew he was getting off.

Didn’t think he played well yesterday but he’s doing what strikers do. In the past he would play well but couldn’t score, whereas now he can have a bad game but get a goal.

DCL is having a fantastic season & scoring regularly now in the premiership.....

Still needs improvement but has come a long way & is on track to becoming an important player in next seasons plans.....

We’re not that stupid imo. He bags 15 this season and next and he’s easily worth over 100m. Still only 22.

He did but the breakdown was 5 vs Young Boys and 3 vs the rest of the competent teams. And it was 8 in Europe and 2 in the 2 cup ties against West Ham.

Back on topic: I know what I think DCL would get us in terms of a fee right now: £25M-£30M - absolute top whack.

We should go for Kevin Volland at Leverkusen. Almost a 1:2 goals per game ratio for them since 2016. €18M they paid for him. An utter steal.
