I think most people will admit Ings is decent enough. It doesn't mean we should sign him.

11 goals in 1650 minutes is a bomb diggity scoring record to be fair to him. If you judge him by raw numbers as a striker, he has earned it.

If you take out the Silva games and just go on Big Dunc+Carlo, DCL is as good as just about anyone not playing for Manchester City. Small sample sure but it's getting bigger each week and the picture isn't changing.

Nah it's probs because Ings is 5 years older, has a horrible injury record with his knees (missed 101 games across 5 seasons) and has scored 35 PL goals in ~100 games whereas DCL has 22 in ~62 games and on an upward trajectory ever since his first PL appearance.

Simple really.

Oh and Ings cost them £20m whilst we picked up Dom for £1.5m.

Danny ings is 27 and at his peak and it’s the first time it’s happened really.

Dom is still developing.

I do see your point but they are at a different stage in their career and that is a factor.

Ings movement and finishing is massively better than DCL's.

Alot of DCL's goals have actually been tap ins (both against Chelsea and against Palace in particular) whilst its good he's getting in the right area's he just doesn't have the stuff to beat a man or smash one in 1 on 1 etc.

Some slate Ings but if they watched his actual movement up top and his finishing they would be suprised how good he has been this season.
