Why? Worried about injuries or distractions, like? I think it would be a boon for him, the club and all if he can stake a claim for the euro 2020 squad. He's the league's top scorer since Ancelotti came in after all, that's hard for Southgate to ignore like.

Injuries are my only concern.

Not so much tapping up these days because of the Ancelotti factor.

For me Everton players playing for England is always a poisoned chalice

If England do well, then there's a good chance the media will then try to sell them

If England do poorly, then the Everton lads will be the very first ones to be scapegoated

Again, I didn't ignore those that don't fit my narrative. If you read again, I referenced Drogba and several others long before you did. I also said it wasn't a pop at Dom because it's not.

They also are both unlikely to play between now and the Euros.

Rashford might be better than Dom on the whole but I'm taking Calvert-Lewin if I strictly need a center forward.

Can't think of other English centre backs that have been better so he should be up for a shout.

Add the fact he can play in a 3, right back, and now midfield....hard to ignore.
