I admit he misses the odd chance, but in a good midfield team he would get more chances than he is getting now .,....our two front men are started of service end of !

Lukaku was often starved of service didnt stop him from slotting regulary.

You'll never see DCL score the sort of goal Rom did against Chelsea in the cup quarter final or in the 6-3 win against Bournemouth heck even Richarlison's goal against Palace this season - the best finishers can often make their own chances.

Decent squad player but not good/consistent enough to be starting week in week out mate.

Lukaku has a half decent midfield behind him our front two have nothing mate......keep on knocking our 23 year old leading goal scorer who cost very little compared to Lakaku

Our top scorer isn't good enough to be starting week in week out, Well this doesn't bode well for the rest of team.

There's a difference between knocking and acknowledging a players limitations mate.

No amount of blowing smoke up Doms arse will suddenly transform him into a prolific goalscorer.

He is what he is and the club need to decide if thats good enough for where they ultimately want to go under Ancelotti in the new stadium.

Jelavic was our top goal scorer in his first few months at the club - means absolutely nothing long term.

But keep peddling that like it means anything outside of 3 months and a squad with only 2 goalscorers in it.

Well he's not like Jelavic is he? Completely different player and far younger but apparently being our top scorer means nothing because it was done in a PuRpLE pAtCh.
Outscoring Richarlison but one gets stick and the other doesn't really makes the noggin joggin.

I can assure you that Carlo will never see our new Stadium.

He's more Jelavic than Richarlison when you look at his 3 years at the club.

You're just using 3 months i.e a small sample of his time at the club to push an agenda - same way you did with Silva using those last few good results from last season to make out that he was improving and deserved to stay on this season until you realised you was ultimately backing a lame duck and changed your stance.

What agenda? He's our top scorer, He's been improving every season yet YOU and others keep moving the goal posts.
Yes I was fully backing Silva after that run he was playing good Football while beating decent teams do you just expect me to ignore that because I haven't possessed the talent to look into the future.

Some fans back the manager and the players.

Some fans cry, moan and demand we sign Danny Ings.

Funny as he was scoring at a ratio of about 1 in 9 until December - March which by definition is a purple patch.

You just get carried away by small pockets of good form.

Unless you're judging someone by the majority of their games and not the minority you come across as having bias in your opinion.

The same way @Joey66 will gloss over 5 bad performances from Dom but the moment he next scores he'll be claiming he's growing and growing all the time.

I can't criticise him too much. That midfield behind him is a genuine disgrace. Even Richarlisons goal was because Digne bypassed it.

Any striker in world football would struggle to do anything with that midfield. Speaking generously its mid table Championship standard.

I back good managers and good players like Carlo & Richarlison.

If I wanted to watch us be managed by a bum like Silva with 11 alehouse players I would go get a season ticket with Dean at Tranmere.
