You can’t blame him, there is no way he should be the starting forward for a side hoping to crack the top 6.

Even Kean will likely struggle. We needed one proven striker, but when signing Kean, needed another striker too as it’s unfair to think he'll Come in and slit straight away.
For me the only solid option atm is Richarlison, we have players who can play on the wing, so no problem him playing central, he holds the ball up as good if not better than DCL he scores and he’s quick. The windows just shut and really we are still looking for a decent striker and good back up CB, we’ve messed up again really, but I think switching things abit we could do ok.

Glad I'm not the only one that see's this.

Are you watching Marco , Dunc & Boa Morte.

There was an occasion in the first half where Bernard had the ball, when Digne didn't make the overlap run, and DCL was running from the other corner of the box man in front goal side. It looked like he was pointing to the near post and make a run there but he actually stops his run near enough on the penalty spot. He hadn't even managed to get in front of the defender either.

His movement inside the box is terrible. He can run into channels, which anyone can do, but him running into channels to pick up the ball is useless when we have no one else close to him or able to link up with him.

I thought Mr Scapegoat did everything he could today, held the ball up well etc. How's he supposed to know what run to make when the likes of Seamus hasn't got a clue where he's going to put it himself?

Its bread & butter to a Harry Kane or Sergio Aguero . He just doesnt seem to get it , said it earlier he hesitates like waiting for the ball to reach him meanwhile the defender as thinking well ahead of him.
I dont think he's gonna make it here tbh.

It’s quite simple really mate, he’s there to score goals, which he doesn’t do very often, hence why we bought Kean.

His first instinct in the box is to move towards a defender because that is his strength, a battle and a tussle. The very best do the opposite they get into pockets of space quickly evading defenders then they are picked out.
It cannot be coached it is instinctive, he has never had it and never will.
