Oh I see yeah 100% agree with you mate. Brands telling silva to leg it when trying to replace him is paying dividends now. An when not if he gets a few games for the senior England squad you can probably add 20m value especially when he starts bagging for them

Nothing to do with DCL then? 13 goals in the poorest midfield in the Prem last year.....I am not surprised both he and Richy are now more deadly with a good midfield

I agree, he has obviously been working hard and listening but DCL one year ago would have fluffed that first goal.
Don’t think you can underestimate the importance of the goal against spurs to get things rolling mind.

They’ve turned a 15 million pound player into a 50. Always thought he had something about him since his debut. Never thought I’d see him finishing like that though.

he’s always worked hard which is why all the managers have taken to him.
If he can just sharpen his shots when running with the ball he could hit 25 a season. Fantastic achievement considering many including me would have seen him gone 12 months ago.

I don't remember being too critical of DCL, I think my general opinion was he was raw but the best athlete in the squad and could be put to use.
