England national team always play like this. They beat up rubbish teams or manage to scrape past a top team in a friendly through a penalty or a set piece. They have no coherent way of playing football though, most of Kane’s international goals have been penalties or set pieces or against absolute minnows. Whenever they face a decent side in a tournament scenario they are completely schooled.
