A losing battle of a task all night yet just kept plugging away and his reward was that he played a part in getting 3 great points.
Terrific yet again. He is really learning his craft now. A very difficult player to play against, physical, fit, pacey and more and more, lethal in the box. I’ve always liked Dominic, I just thought he would never get enough goals to succeed at this level. Just shows how little I know.
I thought it was great that Lampard thought he was the one of the toughest strikers to play against in the league and that's what he told his defender's.
Reckon he would have buried that header if Yerry hadn't taken it off his head

Reminded me of that City game where they scored in the last moments due to a rubbish Holgate header, He lead the line brilliantly and was always causing trouble even when not getting service and he did it again yesterday. Has to be one of if not the best player improvements ever seen.

Tough gig yesterday but did his job superbly.
Thing with playing 4411 is the defensive shape and organisation out of possession looked much better. It does leave the centre forward isolated and doing a lot of work outside the penalty box chasing long balls, challenging in the air etc...
Doesn’t see as much of the ball, few chances created in the box for him, won’t score as many goals but he’s doing an important job for the team.
Set up like this over the next few games and his goal output will inevitably go down, doesn’t mean he’s not contributing or previous games have been a purple patch - though i’m sure some on here will try to say that’s the case.
