Commentator 2: “1.4m was a lot of money back when he was signed but he’s proving he’s worth it”

1.4m was a lot of money in footballing terms in 2016? I think we paid $5m for Kroldup and he played 1 game.

That's five games now without a goal for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, looks like the bubbled has well and truly burst.

Seriously though, DCL puts in so much hard work and does a splendid job in other areas. We really do need to create more chances for the guy to feed off, the fact that he was dropping back/moving out to the wing against Sheffield United showed how little of the ball he was receiving.

Also that chest and shot at the 28th min would have been goal of the season!
If that shot had have gone in it would have been peak van basten .
He is turning into the complete number 9 if we can somehow get more crosses into him he is definitely capable of 25+ a season up there with rom's numbers but dcl more than prepared to do the ugly side of playing up front on his own

They talk utter wham cause they are not interested in Everton so no research. They probably fuming they have bee relegated to covering everton v Sheffield

Thought he played unbelievable considering his chances were limited. If only Godfrey crossed it instead of trying to score. He’d have had a tap in.

There's this problem of having only one guy in the team that can consistently create chances. Another problem is that he's somewhere in our rehab facilities which seem to be located somewhere in Bulgaria by the looks of things. Can't imagine why he'd need a month to recover from a calf strain otherwise.
