I honestly can't remember what I said about Dom in the past. I may well have slagged him off. I may have said we have to be patient. Possibly both.

I possibly said nothing at all due to realising I get so many things wrong.

Jamie Vardy could (almost) be DCL's dad, he's that old. Why would you want him?

DCL is worth 100m pounds right now. Vardy is worth about as much as a rare pokemon card.

I wouldn't really worry about DCL's lack of goals right now. He's not getting the service he was getting early on when the team had Digne, James, Richarlison, Coleman supplying balls into the box. Iwobi's end product is still inconsistent, and Sigurdsson isn't a natural creator. Dom is dealing with Richarlison who also wants to score, or Pickford or Keane's lumps up field.

Just about running on empty now, Big Dom. But what a season he has had up to now. I’ve thought for a long time that he was a very good leader of the line, I just never thought he would score sufficient goals at this level. It’s a good job it’s not me making the decisions at Everton.

If he just gets through tonight, Richy can replace him for a couple of games. Just please, please no Tosun, it’s always too soon for Tosun.

His hold up play reminds me of Mark Hughes in his prime, back to goal nobody was better, allowed his midfield to come into the game and set up attacks.

I'm happy too that finally everyone is ok with him when he plays well and doesn't score. in hindsight, his character, work-rate and the situation at our club suited his development, Of course he got lucky, as we didn't buy a replacement for Lukaku, but he 100% took his chance and if not here he'd be making it somewhere else. So happy we stuck with him!!

Both quality players, vardy is one of the best strikers in the league and exciting to watch so I’m not sure why all the hate, you make out Keane and Pickford just lump it up field well at times that’s what you do when playing so deep especially when you have a player of Dom’s ability of holding the ball up to release pressure.
