Just tonight? Can't count how many games in a row he has looked crap. He is a tap in striker, he doesn't bring others into the game and requires perfect feeds to him for a chance. He never creates anything himself and is a really ordinary finisher. If we weren't such a good crossing side he'd be on less than 5 goals this season.

Doesn't bring others in to the game? His hold up play is fantastic.

Very 1 dimensional footballer. It can be a very effective dimension but not having a number 9 who can control the ball and shoot from outside of the 6 yard box is frustrating

Harsh criticism, it’s not as if he’s getting great (or any) service?

Needs to be doing better with those two balls into him, touch was dreadful. Good header but cannot just rely on tap ins and headers, has to do more when the ball comes to his feet.

Really, most of our side have no idea how to put in a decent cross altho we have a couple at most who can. DCL is there to score goals, doesnt matter if its a tap in from 1 inch and he has done it again. Just appreciate him for that.

100% this, he is great at what he does, but not good at other, very important aspects of a number 9.

I don't get it mate. Looks like he could bang 30 goals in and people would still moan. He's not world class but he's bloody good.

We have a striker whose scored 19 goals that is the least of our worries. I’m far more concerned that we have no right hand side and Gomes continuing his poor form.
