I'm an old girl and I've supported him from Day 1. I think we would be mad to sell him. Who would replace him?
@DL100. I hear he's deadly on one on ones, but the scouts at Sheff Utd rejected him in favour of young Dominic because he is as athletic as Mikey Quinn after an afternoon at a Toby Carvery. He's petitioning Brands to give him a trial as we speak.

yeah.

In the bad old days before he started scoring more often, he got a lot of stick in here from a lot of people. A small number still give him stick now but most appreciate he's improved and is a key player for us now. But I just don't know where people get the idea that it's mainly the older generation doing the hating. TBH, I wouldn't have a clue how old most of the posters on here are.

Same here. No idea of most people's age. Although on Twitter there did seem to be a contingent of older people who really hated him. I can't understand it. But I am very biased in his favour.

So if an offer comes in for DCL, what is everyone’s valuation of him? what figure would you be happy with?
I reckon Everton would be tempted by a bid in the region of £50m.

I don't think he's brilliant or anything, but I also don't really understand why he's so divisive on here. To me, it's just nice not having to worry about the striker for a change, and I'd rather wait for someone to come in and push him out of the team than be in a position where we're relying on the useless DoF to find a starter.

I'll cop to having been in the 'gave him a lot of stick' club. He was more wasteful than Sterling.

At this point the best play is to build around him by adding a crossing right back and just Route One it up top all day. He can head crosses in and engage in hold-up play now.

Carlo had the build-a-house-at-the-back thing right, but we need a better counterattack to beat the podunk teams that try to sit back a bit. Once we can do that via Route One and qualify for Europe, we can get some real mids in here and play some footy.

There are 50 names on the list, order has no relevance.
You posted list of players on the Internet most of whom you have never seen play, in a website that no one has heard of… yet you think it’s represents potential 20+ strikers that Everton should buy?
Brush your teeth and get to school

Criticism of him has devolved into basically "he's not Lewandowski", because there's no valid criticism of him left.

A fantastic young player that has developed perfectly over time, but he upsets the old fellas because of how he handles himself off the pitch.

…I’m very old, I’ve liked DCL since I first saw him play for U23s. Decent lad, he handles himself very well off the pitch.
