Actually quite surprised that he'll be available. Must've trained properly this morning.

I am surpised too. maybe the running was mainly to give his toe as much rest as possible. Yuo can wonder though how match fit he is. Obviously he trained much of the summer with England, but has hardly played any games.
Needs must though hope he starts tomorrow until we have Rondon

What basis is that ? Rooney was a player

I'm not sure there's any basis for comparing DCL, who is a good player, to a generational talent like Rooney.
