41 premier league goals. Lukaku the recorded holder with 68. He is only 4 behind Kevin Campbell. Hopefully with good service should break the record in a few seasons, if he stays fit and stays here.

Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the world, his goal record is stupid. DCL is improving, and many of us early appearances for us was late subs and getting played out wide. Was even that time Koeman played him right wing back.

Lukaku was a nailed on starter as a striker during his entire run here (rightfully so obviously)

DCL spent half his time here playing in a wider role.

Also Lukaku is a massive outlier on these type of things as he was pretty much ready from the age of 17.

It's gonna be tough for some "Evertonians" this season ....... It will be like supporting 2 teams in one league - Everton and Chelsea when Lukaku is playing.

I guess the ideal scenario for those "fans" is that Everton win and DCL doesn't score - and he misses absolute sitters and Lukaku just plunders them in for Chelsea.

That then strangely allows them to take glory in that Lukaku once played for little old Everton - the icing on the cake would be if he he just mentions Everton in a glowing reference before he plays us so they can do the "come home Ron" nonsense.
