Yeah, its baffling, hes playing for a really good side and he has chance upon chance every game.

I doubt Bobby L would score for us.

He doesn’t do anything outside of the penalty area either, would it kill him to hold a ball up or rough up a defender or run the channels and pull defenders out of position occasionally? There’s more to being a centre forward than waiting for a ball to be crossed to you 3 yards from goal.

The lad can't kick a ball properly. He's a professional football player, and he can't do the one thing that is a bit of a given.

There is literally no point in even pretending with him anymore, if it isn't an open goal 4 yards out, this lad isn't scoring.
Gray is the only player in the squad who can strike a ball cleanly, and he's hardly banging them in every week, either.

The simplest things, like putting a foot through the ball, are beyond these players.

He offers zero to the team at the minute so shouldn't play. If Rondon was putting in this standard of performance he'd be slated.

The lad doesn't deserve to play on current form so get him on the bench.
Problem is Rondon and Tosun aren’t much better and Richy can’t play as a striker

Not denying you’re a homophobe then. Interesting.
I think you're misrepresenting things here Nymzee. To quote your post (to which I was responding) "Nah, Everton hasn’t turned me into a homophobe thankfully".
Now Nymzee, whilst you might think I should be edified to learn it wasn't Everton that turned you into a homophobe, I actually do not give a monkey's. You are just some faceless fella on a footie forum. I do not care one jot about your character traits, beliefs, leanings etc... and I care even less as to the provenance of those.

Unfortunately, there are many on this forum who would have you believe that this is a team performing well below their ability and that it is mental fragility alone that has us where we are.

The unfortunate truth is that our problem is entirely a talent issue. We easily have one of the bottom five worst teams in the league so our position in the table is entirely representative. Any criticisms of Lampard should be taking this into account.
