I know there’s that rule but I wasn’t sure because the save goes back away from the goal.

Regardless mate it's just down to the original attempt being on target, you could maybe argue if it then goes like a pinball but in that case it was on target and seen as DCL'S header forced the error by the goalie hence the goal being given but looking at how it's gone over many years it was never in doubt IMHO.

I watched Lineker score 40 goals in a season and he still missed sitters including one in the home derby when the ball was on the goal line and he managed to hit the bar. Would have been a title winning goal.

He actually doesn't miss that many. His conversion rate is pretty high. If it wasn't he would never have scored 21 goals without pens last season when we created very little

im talking about his conversions of one on ones not his conversion of tap ins from inside the 6 yard box
