I'd prefer a reaction on the pitch but in the context of needing to get a lot more from him, then at least he is not oblivious to it.

People might say we need harmony in our situation, but this reflects tension, and I think a little of that might be good for us.

We need fight, snarl, an attitude to prove people wrong. He has come out with this now so next step is to talk on the pitch.

He needs to take his frustrations out on the opposition, not on us and the team.
Agree he has to come out like he’s a possessed by a demon and give his all even if it’s for 45 minutes and has nothing else to give and gets taken off

Utter Rubbish btw. I don’t demand or expect goals. I demand effort.

When Richarlison and Gordon are either side of him are running themselves into the ground, and he’s jogging round, looking uninterested, maybe that’s the issue.

Yeah, no one is upset about him scoring goals. It’s the poor effort he shows when he’s out on the field. He mopes around, never sprints, can’t ever control the ball when it comes to his feet. He’s just a very bad footballer right now and most of that is due to effort.

Needs a goal badly but he has to open his game up instead of just staying near the box.

His link up play could be improved and he will be unstoppable.

"Judge me on goals, which will come"

That's like me telling Warren Buffet, "judge me on my profits, which will come."

I'm not going to list out his limitations as a footballer because I'll get cramp in my thumbs typing it out. He is the play he is and that's fine.

All players go through bad patches, look at Keane, Maguire on the other side.

But you have to do something different to get out of that rut and he simply isn't doing anything. No one else is going to change it for him, he has to change himself first.
