Mate he is just not producing. He is either injured or just goes out on the pitch for a little run around. I am sick of the lack of effort in him and most of our players. HK would not go near him in the 80s team. No commitment, no passion, sfa effort. I am just tired of sick notes who when they are finally bothered to make themselves available trot around, and people make excuses for him- not fully fit......just back from injury. FFS I would go through walls for every team I played with. Very rarely injured, and dying to get back on the pitch. I did my achilles in a friendly ffs
I think he knows he got a summer move to Arsenal or maybe Spurs in the bag, so he's just going through the motions, not risking a major injury setback, seeing out the clock until the summer.

You'd think with Rondon and Tosun and perhaps even Dele there are enough options to get one half decent 90 minute center forward performance from them if DCL is going to offer nothing, but I think Lampard will still back him all the way as the best of an uninspiring bunch.

Mate, I know I am old school, and I go back decades following this Club. However I am really angry that there are people draining huge amounts of money out of our Club and are producing sfa. I just want to see effort and passion in the RBJ. What I have been seeing for years is cowardice and jogging around with a cba attitude. Still I love the Club - really dislike many of our current squad

He won’t get anywhere near Spurs or Arsenal, they will go abroad for a striker.

He needs to write off this season and get ready for next, if he wants any hope of going the World Cup.

He has clearly played when not fit and ready.

I hear ya, and agree; but most of them are millionaires just doing a job for an employer they don't really care about or for, picking up their wages win lose or draw, looking out for themselves.

If we get relegated, half of them will be out of here like a shot and the other half will be happy to stay put if they can't get a better wage somewhere else.

"He's injured", yeah so its claimed. You'll have to forgive me for not buying it. Whatever though, even if it is true then his blatant lack of effort during the games he did play for us prior to his latest injury suggest that there's somthing else going on. I doubt he'll ever play for the club again and frankly, I'm quite happy about it.
That he’s still not 100% as he’s had an awful injury?
Are you happy? Really? I hope you are. All the best

Hmmm, not so sure. I think Arteta has been an admirer of his for quite a while, seems to be longstanding and legit links to Arsenal, who will definitely be looking to sign 1 or 2 strikers in the summer.

As for the WC, Southgate has his favourites; lack of fitness or form hasn't stopped certain players being picked by him before. Wouldn't surprise me if DCL has been assured as much as possible he's very much in GS's plans, so long as he's available.

Did you even see how bad we looked without a focal point in our attack last night?

Sound, hes annoyed you with his frocks, but we are a better team with him on the pitch, its not even a debate.
We were better when Rondon come on, I'm not saying he’s perfect for us but at least he puts some effort in. I haven’t seen much effort from Dom lately.

I'd call a double leg break an awful injury, a Cruciate ligament rupture is an awful injury. Hurting your toe which should take a few weeks at most to fully heal? Not for me like.
