The way I see it.

I've been happy with Dom's progress, season on season up until last year.

Last year was massively interrupted by injuries and he recently came out about his mental health issues too.

Unfortunately during that period, he's been doing things off of the pitch in fashion that's brought attention from fans, for the wrong reasons.

Whereas before, fans were being very patient watching his progress, that's very quickly disappeared for some now and they assume his actions on social media & difficulty to regain form after long spells out (for the first time in his career)

Mean's that he thinks he's above the club, is God's gift and wants to get a big transfer.

They see a guy wearing questionable outfits that don't fit the mold of what a classic everton no9 would wear, being out of action during tough times and not settling in quickly enough when we were desperate.

But quickly forget about the lads linear path of progress up until his injury spells - he was really starting to look like a classic centre forward (who remembers that header away at spurs, for example?).

He's young, has been in the treatment room far more than I'm sure he'd have liked (considering he'd be wanting to continue building scoring momentum from the previous year), has struggled dealing with that mentally and is being vocal on social because he's figuring himself and this thing called life, out.

I've no reason to believe he isn't the man to star upfront next season with a big aerial presence, goals and solid performances, continuing his development.

Because for me, there's no doubt that he's got that natural goal scoring DNA.

It's all about our recruitment in building a team around him to thrive.

If the lad's dress sense scares you and his modelling makes you question your sexuality then just say that you're starting to fancy him and be comfortable with it.

Don't start turning on him and getting angry and trying to belittle his goalscoring record and shouting sell sell sell

The answer to your pain lies within, not with him

I reckon Richarlison forced us in to a system which really didn't suit DCL. If he stays I think going back to long ball Ancelotti style play will have Dom back at his best.

Imagine Liverpool had just been through a season of near relegation and their attacker who couldn't score and couldn't be arsed shifting himself about the pitch was out flogging Braun Razors and doing interviews for fashion magazines.

We'd laugh ourselves sick.

When a no mark like him has his place secured at your club you know there's been an organisational catastrophy.
how many ways are you going to re-hash your bile Dave, you little ray of sunshine you.

Getting grief for being strong enough to do his own thing and be his own person.
No more than jealousy, from a lot of our fans, and the outdated views they have.
No wonder some players leave.
so what you`re saying is @davek wants to do some cat-walk modelling besides doing his window-cleaning round and can`t because Dom`s got that gig
