It comes to something when people believe the crap written by gutter writers and then quote them. I am not a great fan of Dom as I think he is a limited player. However I plead guilty to making references to his preference for dresses rather than trousers, not as bad as Davis mind, but there is one to swerve.
Some good hold up play in patches but missed a couple ofnwasy chances and had a great chance to put someone in and his pass was dreadful.

You won't get much out of Dom with no creative players in the squad. So keep whinging about him if you want, but he's never been a player to create his own chances and his form will only improve when we create for him.

Our only hope is to accidentally sign someone who he quickly strikes up a telepathic partnership with. Been far too long since we’ve had a pair of players that make each other better up top.

You won’t get much out of any striker with no creative players. There’s no danger men at all. Gray is nowhere near good enough. Huge pressure to put on Gordon - a sometimes England u21 starter - in his second season to pick up the slack from selling a proven Brazil international.
Iwobi or Dele attacking mid - with Doucs and Allan/Davies. I mean, come on, that’s the stuff of a centre forwards nightmares in terms of support.
We don’t even have a set piece specialist so not like we’re going to score loads from corners/free kicks. Doomed doomed I tell ye.

You cannot strike a telepathic partnership with someone who does not link the play or pass with combos, he's very limited and the best you can hope for in linkup with DCL is one of the headers that rebounds off his head falls the right way for another player, as we know he doesn't lay off his holdup headers into any specific place, he just lets the ball bounce off his head.
