That's shy I'm torn on selling him if s big offer came in mate, the specific injury he has dies have a track record of reoccurring in other players who've had it.

A fully fit DCL all season is huge for us.

A DCL who breaks down. Or one where the fear of him breaking down leads to a lot of 'precautionary' games missed or minor niggles is huge the opposite way.

You're right about needing 4-5 players currently, with little money up front available, question then becomes 'if' you could get in 50-60m say for him and say bring in Broja for half of that AND the full leftover balance is added to say the '20m' (rough guess) we have to strentghen, then is it the smart thing to do ..
In the position we are in, it's a very very risky thing to do.

We need another forward as it is. Broja scored what, 6 league goals last season? He was fit all year. Dom scored 5 and played 15 games...

Not for me.

This season was about selling one of Richarlison/DCL, not both.

Sell Calvert Lewin aswell and huge pressure on the replacements coming in and with budget likely will not be experienced at top level.

After last season far too much of a risk.

Purely Looking at league games

Broja 32 games 1980 minutes 6 goals.
DCL 17 games 1287 minutes 5 goals.

2 of DCLs where pens though.

Per 90 from open play Broja had a better strike rate mate.

Can counter with DCL wasn't fully fit etc, can counter that with it was Brojas first season as a starter in the league and he's 5/6 years younger

Broja suffered in the 2nd half of the season when Saints changed their setup, it didn't suit him at all.

I think its mad to even consider selling him we have a lack of goals in the team already. Who scores the goals if we sell him? There isn't much in midfield at the back in the way of goals. You are relying on Alli/Gordon/Iwobi/Gray to all up their goals. If we were selling him it needed to be earlier in the window and with two forwards identified and ready to come in.

It's not comparable Broja played a full season starting most games, Dom's quad injury kept him out of the majority of the season even when he played apart from at the start or at the end of the season he didn't look fit.

It is what is it though mate, nothing saying that the quad injury will have a long term impact on how he looks going onwards.

Counter to that is one had over 160 games in the league one just over 30

If he wasn't fit he should not have been in the squad let alone playing mate, doing that can not only cause a reoccurrence of the injury but also do long term damage to the affected area of the body. Even the season before (his best one) most of his goals came in the first few months, post Christmas he was getting marked out of games and struggled to score at times. Still got a bit to prove and with no James or Digne either.

what, and get sent off every two minutes, we don`t get away with `professionalism`. DCL is here to stay, that injury will have changed him and under Lampard i think we`ll see a revitalised Dom
Aggression doesn't mean ill-disciplined. Richarlison was aggressive. We need two in of the same mind set.

Doms finished at the top level

At least he had one good year and his ego hasnt stopped goin up since

DOM OUT
Anyone who cant see that obvious fact has just been pulled in like mugs to his 'personal back story' like some Britain's Got Talent punter.

The lad is a pisstake. Stinks the gaff out all season, but comes up with a crucial goal and rides it for all its worth with some sob story about having 'issues' last season...the only issue he had was being a lazy usless Tyke.

Sell.

You’re so comical.
