Richarlison wanted to leave for CL footie and we needed to sell someone for a big fee.

If Lampard raised concerns over DCL he'll have been sold same as any other player he doesn't want in the squad.

Signing McNeil its clear he's had him in his plans as the focal point like Benitez did with Townie but the gamble hasn't worked.

Should have punted him in July and signed another target man or changed system and gone for Broja.

You've got to have an interested party to be able to sell.

Given the season he had last year and the fact we would demand big, no one in their right mind would bid for him.

Hopefully the injury isn't serious, he has a decent season and we can shift him next summer

DCL was signed for £1.5 millions 4 years ago - could have sold him for £45-50 million and signed 2-3 attacking players and stayed within FFP limits.

The manager has dropped a bollock listening to our inept medical team instead of seeing with his own eyes that DCL is likely finished as someone who can play 30+ games a season.
