He was a very good target man, that was obvious once the ineffective Maupay replaced him. The goals will come if our performances continue in this vein and he increases his fitness and sharpness.

He could make himself a legend like Richy did last year if it’s his goals that ultimately keep us up. That’s a massive incentive in itself.

According to dych post conference Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a tight hamstring and they took a risk by playing him today. Worrying that at this stage he still have small niggling issues...hopefully they cam get to the bottom of it and have him 100% fit.

But getting minutes and building resilience is good too.
Read something from Ferguson the other day saying Owen Hargreaves was his most disappointing signing, summarising he basically said he didn’t have the mentality to overcome his injuries.

Under the radar brilliant performance from him today, we played to him long and he won plenty of duels that meant we had the ball up the pitch, why wasn’t lampard doing that?!

Worrying that he struggles to get to 60mins though. If he drops we really are buggered…if only there had been a period of time where we could have signed another striker. Anyway..:cross fingers he stays fit for the majority of our remaining games.

Good hold up play but its worrying that he is spawning sitters which were his only form of gols.

The Onana one is a sitter but it's not really like he's skewed it if you get me. He's slid in and the ball is half an inch ahead of him. It's very fine margins.

That header was a good chance but if he'd bagged it, it would have been a brilliant finish.

We need him to be scoring again. But Dyche will feed him more than Lampard did.

The pass was perfect, he was too slow getting there, watch it again and see how slow he was in starting his run…

Indeed, he played well but his goal instincts are still not up to speed. I’m not having a go at him but he’s got a lot of work and polishing to do…..
