As Gary Neville said.. we will be down if we are pinning our hopes on waiting for him to come back.
What else can we do with the other options we have up there…it’s a matter of hoping he can somehow stay fit for some games..and that he scores some goals in those games…

Honestly he reminded me of Sturidge for the other shower niggle doesn't want to play ffs.my option is say take some pain killers and crack on . Stuart Pearce said something on talksport that some players are comfortable being injured starting to think he's one of them

He barely makes a blind bit of difference to this team. Why people continue to mither themselves with his absence I have no idea.

We'll sink or swim without this feller. Just forget him.

We say it to give ourselves some hope that we'll look better if he gets back playing, but you are right. The reality is he'll come back look well off the pace for a few games. Maybe throw in one decent performance then be out again for a month. Rinse and repeat.

He's not worth any of our time. In fact, he's a hindrance.

For whatever reason he cant or wont get on that pitch.

Ok. That's the way it is. We move on.

Personally that is what i think, Think people are going a bit OTT about acting as though having him in the team makes a different when he has only scored 1 goal from 700/800 odd mins, Gets a bit annoying when you hear all these experts saying we will be ok etc when he is back yet they don't seem to take in a lot of the time its like he was not on the pitch when he is, he may do what he did last season and score the goal that keeps us up-time will tell

Scoring goals isn't the only metric to judge a good striker's performance.

The last we heard was there was no damage shown in the scan. But hes out for at least 4 matches now so it's a big concern.
Every so called small Injury seems to have him out a month or so, and when he is back, he only seems to get a few games before he is out again, no amount of time been out the team getting fitness work in etc or training seems to have any effect on him staying fit and ok
