How are we financially screwed? We haven't overspent this season and sold Richo and Gordon since the end of last season, and
there's the parachute payment. I think the squad we've got including a recall for loanees like Cannon might be good enough to
get back up.
What are 'outstanding loan repayments' and how are they contingent on us staying up? Do they not have to be paid if we go down,
which is the situation I was talking about?

Need to catch up mate. We are pretty doomed financially at the moment. We’re under investigation as it stands.

It literally says it in the accounts.

Whilst the club has been able to secure longer term funding facilities during the year end 30 June 2022, some of these facilities include a covenant that assumes the club will remain in the Premier League, therefore the Board have had to consider the scenario of relegation and the availability of these facilities in that scenario. The providers have indicated that they remain supportive to the group under each scenario. However, at the time of approval of the financial statements, there are no contractual commitments in place that would guarantee a waiver of the amounts payable in full or in part and therefore relegation would require a material repayment of debt as per the contract.

The clubs cashflow comes from loans, the land we own is mortgaged and most important the PL TV money (as that is paid in installments) is used as liability for a big loan from dodgy Media and Rights Funding Limited.

Given the parachute payment is 55% of PL TV money how do we fulfill our obligations to repay those loans when we don't have that cash coming in?

If we go down, I think he would insist on leaving, and not obliging would upset the team mentality (which I think is already quite shook). He had appearances for England a few years ago and probably has aspirations to play for England again. He won't get that if he's in the Championship.

Someone also mentioned "remember that one season he was good". I dont think Dom has lost his quality, but there's definitely less playmakers around him now. Previously he had James, Richy and Digne to name a few. Now he has Myko and whichever CB we decide to play RB this week. Even McNeil, who has come into a bit of form recently (at least compared to the rest of the team), is a downgrade from who we had. By not finding suitable replacements, we were always going to struggle to get goals, as there's no service.

Also Bernard and Siggardson who could find him with a pass. Now we only have Iwobi, McNeil and Gray. Bad times.
