Mate, the WC starts in 43 days. He's not played for England since July 2021. He missed most of last season through injury and the only way he was gonna make the WC was to have a good start to this season. As it stands, we're 43 days from the WC and he's not played yet this season, and you think this was his plan to gatecrash the WC squad?

As I've stated above, an injury crisis might get him picked. Other than that, no chance.
Indeed...injury crisis might help him but for that he has to be fit himself...so whilst hope is small there is a very slim unlikely chance that he could be in the squad.

Agree, but his fitness issues are a concern for a young man .
What, cause he has had one season with some issues after being poorly managed and rushed back into the squad?

People act like he is injury prone and gets the same repeated injury. This season was a freak training ground injury, could have happened to anyone.

Last season, he had a broken bone and then being rushed into the squad (due to poor recruitment which has been resolved by now having maupay meaning he doesn't need to be rushed) when not fully fit, leading to further issues.

Okay mate. If we were talking about Harry Kane, you might have a point. As it is, we're not, and you don't.
It's nonsense, he was fit previously at the end of last season when England had a match and Southgate refused to call him due to lack of games so he isn't going to get called up for a World Cup squad in just over a month when he still hasn't really played at all. Providing he sorts his injury issues out then there will be other tournaments for him to participate in come the future.

It is possible for a player who wasn’t previously injury prone, to become injury prone mate.

Scored 8 (age 20), 8 (21), 15 (22), 21 (23).

Then as you say, scored 5 in 18 (24).
Which over a full season would be double figures again.

They are good figures for a striker learning his trade at the top level and shows clear development. The outlier is last season when he was poorly managed and rushed back from injury.

Not sure what goalscorers are guaranteed to be getting us 12+ goals a season consistently which he is capable of.
We cant rely on him.

This season will determine his fate here. If he isn't playing the bulk of the next 30 games (at least 20) then we have nothing to look to him for.

Regardless of that thiugh, we need another goal scorer in anyway. Lampard knows that.

If he is physically fit to play, he should be on the bench yes. Whatever treatment and rehab required is then no longer necessary and its a question of match fitness and strength which he can only gain by playing minutes. Whatever caution is required, should be required only in holding him back before he's ready.

If he is declared fit to play, no caution should be required. More, just common sense management to use him sparingly from the bench for a little while.
Didnt realise you were a sports rehab expert? Can you sort mina out for us too?
