Honestly, and this isn't even about Dom, I'm just so tired of seeing his name. He cannot keep fitness. He's been done for about 3 years now but, for some inexplicable reason, the club keeps on thinking "Just ONE more try!" with him. I'm just sick of seeing everything resting on a player who wasn't prolific when he WAS fit.

Because he is an excellent footballer. Great touch. Brilliant in the air. Strong, pacey, one of the best in the league for hold up play and while not especially prolific, compared to others we have had in the last few years, he is like the 2nd coming of Gary Lineker. He massively changes our game and our level of threat. Pleeeeease God (I'll be good), just give us an injury free season for DCL.

Don’t come into his thread and you’ll see his name less.

Been done for 3 years? It’s only been 2. And half of the issues have been rushing him back before he is ready which is a manager issue, which we have changed.

Not prolific? 3 years ago (when you are claiming he was done), he scored 21. Season before he scored 15. That’s pretty prolific for a mid table team.

Before that he had 2 seasons of 8, which for a 21/22 year old being regularly played out of position and breaking through, is decent.

We also look a much much better team just by having him up top, even if he doesn’t always score. But he has gone from having Richarlison and James and Gylfi assisting him, to Iwobi, Doucoure and Gray.

Don't mind Nymz mate. He's a he FYI. DCL's brother actually. So don't be surprised that he defends him so vigorously. He doesn't like it broadcast, but I think it's fair you know.

Probably best you apologise for insulting his brother so you can shake and move on.

Dyche certainly didn’t rush him back last season, he gave him February-May off and he still broke down after 4 games and was out for months. If he gets through to Christmas without picking up another significant injury I will be flabbergasted.

So it is about Dom?
 
This has been going on for years , it's a bit understandable that people are getting a bit concerned that the club still haven't signed a replacement and are reliant upon him being fit for the third season straight as a lone striker.
