2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Honestly mate, don't get your hopes up.

1 in 5 career average and a checkered injury track record.

It's literally the sort of stuff folk moan about DCL for.

Would be nice to be pleasantly surprised though.

I know but it hit home yesterday when i saw it printed in black n white somewhere.
In nearly 5 years Calvert lewin is 16 goals with half of them penalties.
Im just willing to look elsewhere. Couple that with he doesnt even look that bothered.

It's not even just personell, the formation and use of players never varies.

Rarely does Dyche go 442 so I can't see him mixing things up and trying a 433 (potential to do so with Broja and Ndiaye).

Look he’s a decent player, has good movement in and around the box. He will score goals in a team that has more possession and has the ball in and around the penalty area for prolonged spells.

I watch him this season and if he is so devoid of confidence the things that come naturally to a striker just aren’t happening.

It’s a shame. He could have been a cult hero but this season has zapped the good will he had from most Evertonians.

It’s a short career, and I don’t think he’ll be blessed with the options he desires.
Claims he needs 13 goals to beat lukau recently to be Evertons leading "Premier League" scorer. Many season at Everton left.

At times he's been seen as better than the likes of Watkins & Solanke who are both challenging at the right end of the table and scoring charts, all a similar age.

Its a short career and he has been here 8 years, probably feels like he can get a decent team looking for a bargain

Unlike those two, he's added nothing to his game in years.
