2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

He used to bully central defenders with his physicality...now he is just running around pretending to care. He seems completely lost and the contract situation is crazy. How did we get here? It was always going to be like that with a player that cannot afford to be injured before his last big pay day. It took dyche too long to make the switch, and beto should have had more chances. Now we can't afford for beto to be injured either as might be the only way we can bring money in, so he is not playing...broja is now injured as well as chermiti...again for me dof is to blame. Should have been sold in the summer and replace then. Now he will go on a free in June whilst doing the absolute minimum during matches where he will have to play because our striking situation.

Our isolated strikers didn’t score again with the zero chances they had, let’s tell the media they’re all crap and say they aren’t good enough.
Who in their right mind is pulling their tripe out for a manager like that? At this point I am struggling to see what the point of having any strikers on the pitch is for at all. Should just play another centreback instead

I don't believe he's on 100k p/w, closed to 75k.

That's about the going rate. It's not CL money at all.

I'm not convinced Broja will sign for 30k p/w and will cost 30m. I'm not anti-Broja, but I was a bit underwhelmed with him V Forest.
Well, £100k is listed as verified on Capology (as is Doucoure's hysterical £130k).

That puts him above Luis Diaz, Trossard, Hojlund, Doku, Savinho, Wilson, Solanke and Richarlison among forwards at the English clubs with serious budgets (equal with Jackson at Chelsea).

The only ones getting more elsewhere in the league are Watkins, Vardy and Bowen.

In the Champions League, he's on more than Taremi (Inter), Pulisic (Milan), Yildiz (Juventus), Sorloth, Correa (both Atletico), Guler (Real Madrid), Musiala (Bayern), Malen, Adeyemi (both Dortmund) and Sesko (Leipzig); and he'd be the top earner at clubs like Stuttgart, Girona, Atalanta, Bologna, Brest, Lille, Monaco, Sporting, Feyenoord and PSV.

There are eight Everton players on more than what Liverpool are paying Diaz

Beto can't pass. He just runs with the ball then loses it and sits on the floor. Boot to Italy Asap

Is Solanke really on less than 100k? Wow.

Lots blaming Dyche for this lads lack of of interest or effort. we need to boot the pair of them in to touch ASAP and get replacements - sick of watching this rubbish football now - Time for TFG to step up now and take some action

The tactics are terrible and he's terrible too. Just look at the difference with Bournemouth's front players today: all kinds of movement, getting the ball and beating a man and generally looking like they can be bothered to contribute something.

It's so obvious he wants out and it's even more obvious that this is the best it gets for him. I can't wait for him to find that out.

Not a great loss but it’s not like they’re going to replace him with any better. The mythical 20 goal a season striker isn’t easy to get and the club seem totally unable to scout attacking players and oven if they could the new bloke would be up there alone
