I spent the first two years defending him, when he was slated on here despite him playing on the left and right.
He’s shown nothing in the last few years to warrant a new contract, and is also stopping others getting a chance. It’s obviously cheaper for the club to keep him than buy a new striker, but it would be madness, he’s not going to improve now.

If we kept him we’d still need another striker

Our CB partnership IMO are the best in Europe ..... our midfield the engine room of any team possibly the oldest & the worst ATM ....

Hence, any no 9 is going to get little service, plus we have no overlapping full backs slowish wingers who have to help them out, & a crap manager who thinks a draw is a win ?
