2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

It's interesting that the transfer rumors are only active for one of our strikers and it's not the one with 6 months left on his contract.

I am sure we will be very generous and allow him to train with us over preseason while his agent scours the globe to secure him a contract in a league that suits his current ability.
The Super League died Jake, there isnt a League suitable.

Well Beto is one of 2 strikers under contract for next season so I suggest we support him.

Dominic may have to take a short contract at Sheffield Utd or some other championship team to work his way back into the big leagues after his form and latest injury.
You're posting crap DM wants to get rid of Beto one prem goal - all arms & legs - he works hard though but lacks class... £27 million for a Division one class player .... he always seems to score v DIV 1 teams..... DCL will move on we need a better replacement or two to stay up IMO ....
The Broja deal the DOF should be sacked ....

Division 1?!?!?!

Are you playing the spot the ball later?

That's how I class him - can't trap a bag of cement .... I have seen better in the national league TBH ..... yes he has a nuisance value, but so did Bernie Wright & he scored a few....

Losing DCL short term as we know he is going - is a big loss - pretending Beto will fill his boots is laughable -DM will sign a striker ....

And what about the headers that find a teammate? Or when he holds it up?
You know, things our other forwards can't do
I'll take the forward that can stay on the pitch and is more likely to score, two things DCL isn't capable of doing.

Sorry fellas, our amazing forward, who wins headers in the middle third and doesn't score, is out injured again and leaving in the summer. Say your goodbyes, time for a proper number 9 finally in the summer.

His injury record has been v good this season and last
I'm presuming you didn't watch the noticeable difference with him in Moyes first two games compared to dyche's set up
He would've done well under Moyes, still might

Might that be because the one with 6 months on a deal is injured?

I suspect he will get a better contract than that, but who knows. He is now very injury prone so it will be good when he leaves.

As for Beto, I don't see any sense in supporting him really. He's not good enough.

I like Dom, I think had we not had Dyche in charge he would have faired a lot better and perhaps would have signed a new contract.

He'll never be what we'd call clinical, but could have been a decent player for use in a team that shares goals around and has good crossers. Probably that ship has sailed now.

I would put a young goalscorer in before Beto TBH as DM is trying to get rid of Beto - DCL injury was a massive blow to the team imo

Dom scored last week, Beto didn’t on Saturday
