He is only about 27 .
I have always stuck up for him but his rumoured wage demands and his injury record means it's a no from me.
His goalscoring record doesn't justify the outlay even without the injury side of things.
It's one of those times when I think it's better for the club and player to go there own ways.
When he is fit and on form he is very good but it's not often enough for me.

Personally, I think he's physically done, not up to week in week out 100% Premier League action - a slower league beckons
