2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I'm not fuming.

But if he's here next season it's a blow to any ambition we might believe the club will show next season.

It's inexcusable to keep him on; we can finally get shut of him and get someone in capable of scoring.
He likely won’t be, because Moyes will want to focus on improving the forward line meaning Broja back to Chelsea, Dom released, Beto might be kept as back up and Chermiti loaned out

think he will go Saudi
shame showed what he could do when Carlo had him and told him to stay in width of penalty area

….what’s a shame is his thigh muscles being made of tissue. Once those big leg muscle injuries start, they tend to blight your career and you know the next one is just around the corner.

Going forward we need somebody much more physically reliable, I wonder if the pre-Moyes deal is still on the table or whether that offer has now changed. I like him as a player but I actually think him moving on is best for all concerned.

Or not happy with the deals being offered on a free,
That's what I mean. He's probably been sold the idea he'll have a queue down the street if he just runs his contract , but it was never that simple or easy given his patchy form and fitness record. It might be apparent to him now the contract offer he had from us was as good as it's going to get and the greed of his agents has put him in a difficult spot.

It’s the only logical conclusion mate. He will get a deal somewhere for sure, but maybe not at the numbers or the role he feels he deserves.

Don’t know if you’ve heard the rumours that the deal on the table for him here was withdrawn.
