Defo. That's why I'm made up for the lad.

Some people never learn though. other players will join the club, play badly at first and be judged and sentenced by a fair few.
 

I really didnt rate dcl during last seasons handful of appearances. However i am now willing to let him stamp on my ball bag if he keeps slotting like a true big boy in blue. Cheers ;)

why are we so hesitant and unambitious

why can't he be like Kane and be that successful?
Why won't Davies, Kenny, Pickford be england starters for 10 years to come..

we have to support these guys and just be really ambitious now. We're part of the solution!

Fair enough, I had a feeling there may be a few Calvert-Lewin-shaped skeletons in my closet, so I checked...

If Rooney really is a player we are after, it's reasonable to assume he'll play more often than not but would assume he'll be a number 10 as I can't see him playing very often as a lone striker. That being the case, still think we'd need two others.

I don't think DCL is yet of the standard we need in the 1st XI, but equally he needs to develop so I would hope that a loan move either to The Championship or a promoted Premier League club etc could be a possibility as he will need games

I was disappointed he was subbed last night. He'd just narrowly missed his hat trick with a diving header. With a 2 goal lead against that opposition, he should have gone 2 up front with Niasse. Give the lad chance to get his hat trick.
