Yes mate but he came on with 7 minutes to go with fresh legs and pace against a team that needed to push up for a goal, Niasse would have slotted in that situation im certain.

Also seemed to take an age to get his leg back and get his shot off.

An impressive finish to boot. Koeman needs to be ruthless with Rooney if his lackluster form continues. Sandro didn't have the best night but he was roughed up for a majority of the game. Hopefully he picks it up as the season goes on

I'd rather see him start with Sandro than Rooney in a 2 tbh. At least until Rooney is up to speed.

A really excellent finish, great first touch to take it out of his feet and a lovely composed finish. That will do him the world of good that becsuse I'm sure he's been on cloud 9 since the World Cup and would want to hit the ground running this pre season.
