He's come on miles since his first appearance but I've always backed him to become a good striker for us, and he is doing that. He's getting better with every game and keeps on learning.

Showed some genuinely superb hold-up play, got a good assist and provided some rare bits of good running with the ball.

There aren't too many signs he's going to be much of a goalscorer though, which is crucial.

I was a hater I must admit . I just couldn't see anything in him .
That all changed against this bloody expensive defence .

He played with real maturity . Hopefully this will increase his confidence.
