Indeed it was, many people who don't vote came out for leave. I'll bet the same is true with Trump, not saying he'll win mind but it'll be close either way.

If i was a betting man I'd back no more than 3% margin.

Probably in that ballpark, but in 2012 Obama won the popular vote by less than 4%, but won the electoral vote 332-206 in a landslide.
