Donald Trump for President Thread

At the worst it's 1-1-0

Thinking the needle was not moved at all either way initially.

That said, after vetting what he actually said, I think the fact checkers will have a field day.

First fun fact:

Trump talked for 40:10...Clinton 39:05.

In terms of impression, it was closer than the first debate, but in terms of actual debate it wasn't even close - Clinton actually spoke mostly fact, whereas Trump... erm... "didn't", to put it politely.

But I don't think Trump's supporters in the USA give the slightest toss about whether what he says is true or not. So it all really doesn't matter in that respect - what does matter are the middle ground, and the first half hour of that debate pretty much settled that; nobody in their right mind who is even somewhat undecided will vote for Trump.

Personally think Clinton walks the election by about 5%.

His base is his base. They won't leave him.

His problem is he needs to find new voters that will actually vote for him.

The last 48 hours and even tonight have not added a single vote to him.

He'll win a large portion of the popular vote, but will get trounced in the electoral vote.

There was a time a US presidential race was the most important event on the planet.

It probably is more so than ever for all the wrong reasons, two horrendous candidates.

With the planets eco and economic systems on a precipice the two most pro business candidates ever, the debate is about whether one of them condones groping women or the other ignores her husband doing it.

Democracy doesn't work.

I wait for what is next.

Cooper made Trump answer the question on the giant record that he's never groped or kissed women without their consent. I guarantee we will see several cases of just that in the coming days.
