It's as much a statement form Dyche as anything else - 'give me more players'.

Although agreed it doesn't give the youths the greatest sign.

If he needs to do that to make a statement that he needs more players based off the results so far then I don’t think it will have any impact. As, if the board/dof can’t already see he needs more players then it’s a lost cause already
