Drenthe is now irrelevant, he does not want to play for us, so he can basically do one. Thanx for the (relatively few) goals, now get lost.
 
This "sacking" supposedly happened at least 4 weeks ago even though he has played since.moyes just lost patience with so many indescretions by the player. Good player but good riddance is a way to sum it up.

I see, well this is the second point I was making, that it was poor foresight on Moyes' point to allow it to come to a head at such a vital time, unless there was one particular incident that was just too much to handle any other way. But that's the problem, there's no info coming out of the club. We only have your inside info on what's going on, and ob there's only so much you can say, hence we're all pretty much in the dark. How can the club or anyone else expect us to be anything other than cynical about the situation when we are told this little? Obviously I don't expect the club to 'air its dirty laundry in public', but with an event as major as this there needs to be more than 'disc matter, dealt with, not playing'...

... but you kind of do. Anything they say is just going to hurt his value and chances with other teams -- they're doing him a favour by keeping quiet.

Is "notorious head-case who has gotten himself kicked out of teams in the past gets himself kicked out of another team" really a "major event?"
 
See ya Royston. All you had to do was play hard, show up on time and sober for practice and we would have loved you here.

And after how he's supposedly treated our club we're supposed to care about this why??? I don't want more details, but nothing for months while this has apparently going on then all of a sudden 'whoops, he's off'? If he's going around causing all these problems then he should be man enough to deal with the repurcusions... I don't think the club telling their side of the story is out of line in some way...

The day before a cup semi against the RS? Biggest game in three years? When there's been nothing coming out of the club about the situation beforehand? Pretty major to me....
 
Any player that does that at this point in the season is a spineless clueless ****.
Should be sacked and sent back packing in spain
