It was great to see us win but the reports we have been getting of full grown men having tears in their eyes watching another full grown ( and scary ) man jumping around like me when I got my first Everton top when I was 8 was the best part .
As I have said before , I have no idea how good he is at coaching but we do know he is a decent motivator . Maybe that's all we need at this point of a written off season .
I can actually go to work tonight smiling . Plenty of cockneys round my way .

Today I saw some honesty and genuine passion, I will settle for that for now. In an age where falsehoods and untruths seem to rule, I will take Duncan, I believe him, he speaks the truth. The crap from the likes of Trump and Johnson provide the perfect backdrop, I think we all get suckered in, so long may the likes of Kendall, Harvey, Ferguson and Royle rule over us, they at least understand us.

Modern coach ? Today looked a carbon copy of Moyes circa 2003.

What did you want him to do? Try to play modern pass pass pass football with that central midfield? They’re not good enough to play football that’s why silva failed with his ‘football philosophy’ Luckily enough for me I was lucky enough to watch a fair few of the Everton youth games when he was involved in the academy, all his teams played brilliant football
