Up and down performance for me. He loses the ball so cheaply and often fails to do a simple pass. On the other hand though he does do his share of defensive work and does try to look up and create. Reminds me a lot of Barkley, just without the burst of pace to go past anyone. He'll have to do for now but he still wasn't a wise signing.

Doesn't have the pace or clinical pass to be a game changer, but unlike some others can hold his own in a team and is neat and tidy enough.

Problem is the lack of others around him in this team.

Doing a decent job for Dyche and the team; kept running, kept trying and it's up to the strikers/midfield to get on the end of some of those crosses.

I think things will get better; keeping it simple - get a yard and swing the ball in

Ignoring ability, he has clearly realised what is required to play at Goodison and get the crowd on his side. Fair play to him.

His back post corners are fantastic.

How many successive managers have we had now waffling about set pieces? Frank alone had two separate coaches have 6 months each trying to sort it. All it took was “forget near post flick ons that haven’t worked for about 35 years, hit it deep over the keeper to the big men at the back.” Keep it simple stupid.

He has a tendency to overhit all his crosses so maybe Dyche has told him to go near post but told all the big men to go back post.

Weird player, one of the slowest and one footed wingers i've seen play for us, although he did go on a nice run towards the end. Also he can make some stupid decisions on the ball. Towards the end today he was good and he worked hard today.
