he's not very good, but then none of our players are very good which is why we are where we are. he works hard and keeps trying to make things happen. he's growing on me

He’s got massive ability. Only 23. He was the one trying to make things happen in the 2nd half. With better players around him he’ll be a decent signing

There is no doubt that he has ability...but appears to be lacking goals/assists...young still and might improve on that. Needs to work on his right foot which is very bad.

Only problem was his crosses in the first half. Needs to not over do it.

He put 2 doozy's over in the 1st half , but yanno...if we had a striker !!!

If he had a bit of pace, even just a quick turn of pace, he’d be a threat. Think you have to be really special to be an effective attacker with no pace in the prem - a la james Rodriguez…

He is just so one paced that it’s frustrating to watch and makes it easier to defend against.

Positives though, I think he moves with the ball well, takes a good set piece and defends well. A useful player to have in the squad but desperately need an upgrade in the summer if we stay up.

I think he's used to having a big lad there to leap onto the end of it. Would like to see him put in low whipped crosses if Maupay is starting for the next few games.

Works his socks off and puts in 2 or 3 very good crosses every game. If we had an instinctive striker he’d of had a couple of assists today, I’m growing to really like the lad. Let’s be honest, Gordon was nowhere near as creative.

Shame he’s so one footed as he could’ve had a goal today. If he could get his right foot lopped off and replace it with another left one he’d be some player.

Tbf mate nobody’s ever commented on Lionel’s left foot. That’s not a comparison! Just Dwight played well today

Gray does the same IMO but isn't getting a shout. He's just too greedy

It's frustrating when his crosses are poor. That's his trump card. He should be able to ping it right on the spot nine times out of ten.
I presume he practises his skill constantly in training?
