I’m convinced people have never seen good players at this club

tbf I can't slag anyone off who gives him motm, it's just this is where we are now that's the standard. It was another 6/10 performance which is better than the likes of Iwobis 5/10 or Grays 5/10 whwn he plays.

There's all a bit "meh".

Worked hard enough, laid one on a plate for DCL and really should have slipped him in 2nd half. Just a lot of his play lacks any kind of skill, I think he's a piss poor player looking half decent because those around him are piss poor

He did mate but my point still stands, he's a Championship level player at best. That's not me slagging him off, that's me being honest.
I think he’s a premier league player, just a lower/mid table one which is where he’s always been

Put it this way, if we manage to stay up, he’s one of the last ones that needs replacing in our lineup but again I get that all that means is he’s one of the best of a bad bunch

If we had any semblance of an attacking setup he'd be a great left (wing) back when we're on the front foot - seems defensively aware enough and has a good engine and a good cross on him.

Biggest compliment i could pay him tonight is when he was driving forward and getting within striking distance i really sat up because you know the lad can slot one. Dont get that with many Everton players. In fact none. He really looked like he wanted a win tonight.
Also love that he actually tries to shoot often. So many of our players, especially Iwobi, try to walk the ball into the net and constantly try stupid passes.

McNeil always drives forward and will have a go. He’s like Gray that way but with McNeil he’ll actually pass as well when there’s an option, if Gray wasn’t so selfish all the time trying to score Hollywood goals he’d actually be something sort of useful on the other side of McNeil.

I say this often with McNeil but we got a good deal on him. Always puts a great shift in, has been our best and basically only attacking threat since Dyche came in and now looking better with Calvert Lewin in the team, an actual striker.

I think it’s a testament that we sold Gordon for £45m and McNeil is better than him and less than a year older. He’s a good lad, can see him being part of the squad for a long time, even if we improve.

Played very well I thought. Worked his arse off defensively and got us in the front foot with the ball. If he can learn when to release it instead of ‘chewing the ball’ I think there’s a player there. Saying that he needs options when he runs and most of our players are no where when it comes to making runs and supporting.

My MOM though

The bolded is mind-blowing, it's like one of those where Australia is wider than the moon, or Atlanta is closer to Detroit than to Miami, or Belgium is bigger than Canada.
